DOMESTIC GAS ACS

Intro to the course:

The ACS training and assessment scheme covers a range of sectors within the downstream gas industry: domestic, commercial, liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) and emergency service provider (ESP).

Depending upon the work area specified, you would normally undertake a ‘core’ assessment e.g. CCN1, followed by one or more appliance or specialised assessments e.g. CENWAT etc

Gas Engineers or Candidates with a Valid Managed Learning Certificate (MLP)

What are the entry requirements?

For the initial ACS assessments, candidates must satisfy the entry requirements defined by the Assessment Scheme Rules (Category 1/ Category 2 (new entrant with transferable skills)/new entrant with no transferable skills or experience).

Candidates wishing to take re-assessment must have held the assessment element previously – if this element has expired by more than 12 months of the assessment date, it will be necessary to take the initial assessment.
