Code of Good Governance at Scotland’s Colleges

The College receives substantial public funding, and operates in an increasingly commercial and enterprising way. We’re expected to innovate, pursue new opportunities and take measured risks in providing what’s best for our students, staff and organisations involved in the College. In recent times, we’ve gone through major change, embracing regionalisation and post-16 education reforms.

The highest standards of governance and propriety are required in our College and from the people who serve it. So, the college has adopted the Code of Good Governance for Scotland’s Colleges. This codifies the principles of good governance and promotes accountability and continuous improvement in how colleges are governed.
