I recognise the invaluable role that colleges play in our society and believe they are central to our pursuit of a more prosperous future.
“South Lanarkshire College has a long history of supporting students, businesses and communities in the Lanarkshire region and beyond. With the support of fellow board members, our talented and dedicated staff, and our network of employers, I look forward to working in partnership to build on that proud history.
“Against a challenging economic backdrop, I also look forward to collaborating with colleagues across the sector to ensure that colleges are at the heart of our ongoing societal and sectoral transitions. My special thanks go to my predecessor Paul Hutchinson for his leadership and support throughout his tenure."
