South Lanarkshire College is excited to announce the generous donation of a diverse range of complimentary tools from BOSCH, a prominent supplier of technology and services in Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology.
Jordan Ramsay, the Area Sales Manager for Bosch, visited the College on Thursday, 25 January, to deliver the tools, marking the initiation of the Pro College Network Partnership between Bosch and South Lanarkshire College.
This partnership, designed to benefit construction students at South Lanarkshire College, will include ongoing Continued Professional Development (CPD) sessions delivered by Bosch. These sessions provide students with the hands-on experience of working with power tools, offering valuable insights into the practical aspects of the industry.
Alisdair McTavish, Carpentry and Joinery Curriculum Manager at South Lanarkshire College, expressed his delight about the Pro College Network Partnership with Bosch. Alisdair said “I am delighted that the College has entered the Pro College Network Partnership with Bosch and can’t thank the team for their generous donation and impart of their expertise enough. I look forward to collaborating with Bosch to enhance South Lanarkshire College's continuous professional development, innovation, and standards in the further education sector. This collaboration will help to ensure that our construction students can effectively meet the needs of the communities they serve".
