Intro to the course:

This 3 hour short course provides learners with the knowledge to identify suspected mental health conditions as well as the skills to start a conversation and be able to signpost a person towards professional help. This course is delivered by a knowledgeable team of childcare professionals and is aimed at anyone working within an ELC setting who would like to develop their knowledge of mental health. 

On successful completion of the course, learners will gain a SCQF Level 4 Award in Awareness for First Aid for Mental Health

This course has been designed specifically for anyone who works with children or would like to work with children and is interested in continuing their professional development.
