Who is the course for?

This course will prepare you for a career in junior management within the

Hospitality & Events sector or as a direct entry to a graduate training scheme with

a large hotel group working within Hospitality, Conferencing, Weddings and

Events.

It is for those who like to be creative, think outside the box, enjoy problem solving

in both a practical and theoretical environment, working with people, team building

and creating exciting hospitality led events.

You can progress to:

· Level 8 HND Hospitality Management or

· Year 1 of BA Hospitality Management at Napier University

How will I be assessed?

A wide mix of assessment approaches are used including presentations, practical work, multiple-choice tests, short report writing, and observations are all part of the assessment process. On successful competition you will achieve a Higher National Certificate (HNC) in Hospitality Operations at SCQF level 7

What are the entry requirements?

One higher (Grade C or above)

· Three National 5 qualifications one of which must be English.

· NC5 or NC6 in Hospitality Operations, Travel & Tourism or Business and

Administration

· Work experience in the hospitality industry.

What are the interview arrangements?

Offers made will be based on your application.

Those who do not meet the minimum entry requirements will be invited for an

individual interview.

Fees, finance and funding

Fees for full time is £1285

This course is eligible for SAAS.
