Why should I choose this course?

This course is an introduction to hairdressing and make up skills. Completion offers progression to SVQ2 Hairdressing at SCQF level 5 or Level 6 Media make-up.

What are the entry requirements?

• no formal entry requirements
•  two National 4/equivalent qualifications would be beneficial
• enthusiasm and motivation for the make-up industry
•  creative ability is an advantage

What are the interview arrangements?

Interviews not required, additional information will be provided by the Hairdressing department

If you have a passion for hairdressing or make-up and would like a career in this very creative industry this could be your starting point. This short course will introduce you to all aspects of styling hair, classic, fashion and creative make-up trends.

Full time course: Short full time programme 17 hours per week for 24 weeks
