This course is ideal for anyone wanting to develop their career in A therapeutic garden setting for health and wellbeing. 

It will suit school leavers or professionals within the industry looking to change career or take their first steps into the therapeutic horticultural profession.

What will I study?

You'll develop practical skills and learn about health and wellbeing using horticulture as a vehicle to develop an understanding of plants and there uses within a therapeutic setting. You'll learn through group work, lectures and guest speakers in  a practical setting.

Ongoing practical and written assessments.

Other information:

We have recently re-developed our horticulture facilities including a horticulture teaching lab with indoor growing facilities. In addition there is a purpose-built outdoor horticulture teaching facility with allotments, polytunnel, potting shed and outdoor classroom.
