This course is suitable for a wide range of learners including:
You'll develop practical skills and learn about health and wellbeing using horticulture as a vehicle to develop an understanding of plants and there uses within a therapeutic setting. You'll learn through group work, lectures and guest speakers in a practical setting.
NC or HNC in Horticulture (Full-time)
Ongoing practical and written assessments.
This course will prepare you for the new therapeutic qualification or employment in therapeutic gardening. You'll get the chance to help with other events and community projects. You'll get the best possible opportunities to progress in your career in horticulture or health care setting.

We have recently re-developed our horticulture facilities including a horticulture teaching lab with indoor growing facilities. In addition there is a purpose-built outdoor horticulture teaching facility with allotments, polytunnel, potting shed and outdoor classroom.
