HNC CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

Intro to the course:

This HNC Construction Management course is designed to prepare you for a supervisory or managerial role within the construction industry. The course runs over a two year period, 1 day or 2 evenings per week. 

You'll learn about the role, responsibilities and duties of a construction manager. You'll gain the skills and knowledge for employment in the built environment sector or for progressing to higher education.

This course is ideal for anyone wanting to start a career in construction management. It will suit school leavers or those looking to change career or progress into the industry.

• Substructure
• Building Services in large Buildings
• Industrial Commercial Superstructure
• Construction Materials and Specification
• Construction Contracts
• Health and Safety
• Building Measurement and Cost 
• CAD2 D1
• Site Administration
• Surveying A

and you will complete a Graded Unit.

How will I be assessed?

Ongoing assessment open- and closed-book assessments. End-of-year graded unit provides final grade.

One or more of the following: 

• 1 Higher Grade with relevant Standard Grades or National 5 awards
• Relevant work experience or qualifications acceptance may depend on interview.

Fees for evening is £712

This course is eligible for SAAS.This course is eligible for:
