Assistance with Funding for Businesses

Assistance with Funding

At South Lanarkshire College we can assist employers, and their employees, with advice on accessing funding to cover course and training fees.

At the moment, we cannot offer support through the Flexible Workforce Development Funding (FWDF) or Individual Training Account (ITA). These Government-backed funds have been withdrawn but may become available again in the future.

The College may be able to advise on other streams of funding which are applicable for employers to access, depending on funding criteria and the training to be delivered.

We can also support your business in accessing the Levy Grant Funding which is available to all registered CITB companies taking on a Modern Apprentice.

Our team can provide assistance with this process, on the understanding that the funding claimed would be used for training delivered by South Lanarkshire College.

Multiply Numeracy Support

We can provide free numeracy training for employees thanks to the Multiply Numeracy support funded through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.

Training will help improve your employees’ understanding of numbers and ICT skills to help them adapt, progress and prosper in today’s quickly changing world.

Student Awards Agency Scotland (SAAS) funding can be used to cover fees for courses such as HNC/D and SVQ qualifications. If you have an employee(s) looking to access this funding stream, we can assist with the application process.
